Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
By using CoverCheck ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. What CoverCheck Is
CoverCheck is a software tool that analyzes homeowner insurance declarations pages and surfaces potential coverage gaps for review by licensed insurance professionals. It is a productivity tool, not an insurance advisor. Nothing produced by CoverCheck constitutes insurance advice, legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or modify any insurance policy.
2. Who Can Use It
CoverCheck is intended for use by licensed property and casualty insurance agents and brokers. By using the Service, you represent that you hold the appropriate licenses required by your state to advise on insurance coverage.
3. Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for all coverage recommendations you make to your clients.
- You must independently verify any gap findings before acting on them.
- You must not share access credentials or allow unauthorized parties to use your account.
- You must comply with all applicable laws, including those governing data privacy and client confidentiality.
4. Privacy and Data
Policy documents are parsed entirely in your browser. The text content of uploaded PDFs is sent to our AI analysis service for gap detection and is not permanently stored. Scan results and metadata are stored in your account. See our Privacy Policy for details.
5. Limitation of Liability
CoverCheck is provided "as is." We make no warranties regarding accuracy of gap detection. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
6. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
